At the Reitz band contest our freshman year, Rachelle got a picture with everyone's favorite senior, Nicole Haas. (Rifle instructor Garry Sprinkle sneaked in there, too.) Thankfully, it was the last year for those plumes!

"Must you take my picture now?!" Rachelle gets caught with friend Maria Lester on the bus ride home. Hey, at least the performance make-up is off!

Every band member was photographed for permanent display during our sophomore year. Rachelle, then a member of the rifle line, poses as a blonde "Carmen."

Rachelle got a pre-competition picture with friend and classmate Yvette Eckert before a winter guard contest. Yvette died in a car-train accident in January, 1996.

Although they tried to hide behind the lawn display, we can still see that Rachelle and Jeanna Matheis are wearing shirts from our sophomore winter guard show, "American Pie."
