Happy 33rd Birthday, Rachelle!
You are forever in our memories and our hearts.

Dear Rachelle...

And I will always be
Better for you loving me,
Better for the times we've shared
That travel with me everywhere.
And I will always try
To hold my head up to the sky
If only just to let you know
That straight from my heart, I still miss you so.

-Richard Marx, "Straight From My Heart"

Rachelle died in the early morning hours following her 21st birthday in a drunk driving accident. The car she and a friend were riding in collided with a semi-tractor trailer while they were returning to the University of Southern Indiana, where the girls were visiting friends to celebrate Rachelle's birthday. Her friend was critically injured, but recovered. Rachelle suffered trauma to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

On the pages of this site, we'll introduce you to Rachelle and our goals for the scholarship fund.
